My Trail Running Journey

Hi! I’m Simba and I’m a trail runner!

Back in 2017 as I was entering my mid 30s I looked in the mirror and decided that I need to take action. I decided to become a β€˜runner’ and entered the Brighton Marathon. Inevitably, I had bitten off more than I could chew and ended up getting injured and deferring to 2018. Wind the clock forward to today I have ran several road half and full marathons, park runs! However, I found my true calling when I took my marathon training into the trails in Hampstead Heath. Running on dirt paths, through mud and trees felt right awakened the ultra runner in me. I signed up for the TRIBE Run for Love a brutal 280km multi day ultra and I have never looked back. You can find me most weekends bimbling around the South Downs and at trail races around the UK.
